Welcome to Barb Rathbun Photography. I started snapping pictures a few years ago, mostly of kids--our own, our nephews, their little friends and my photography business evolved from there. In fact, it's still evolving,and I hope it always will. There's always something more to learn, something new to try. One thing that seems to remain constant, however is my goal to record the essence of a situation--what a child is thinking behind that broad smile, the special moments caught on a wedding day, that certain something in a teenage boy's face that causes his mom to say "that's him!"
Whether it's in my studio in Naples, in one of the glens or hillsides in the Finger Lakes or at your home, making every portrait special to you will always be my goal.
In addition to individual portraits, I sell fine art photography as well as original watercolors and prints from watercolor artist Joan Zone.
